Fredrin is a desktop kanban for running many AI-coding tickets in parallel. Bring-your-own-subscription is the default, your code and Project Context live in your own repositories, and we collect only what we need to run the board and your account. We do not sell your data.
Account data — your email address and basic profile (name, avatar) used to sign you in via magic link and identify you to your workspace.
Workspace data — the tickets, projects, statuses, and comments you create on the board, so the kanban can show your work across sessions.
Operational data — minimal logs and diagnostics needed to keep the service running and secure.
With bring-your-own-subscription, requests to AI providers run under the subscription or API key you supply. Your source code and Project Context files stay in your repositories and worktrees — Fredrin mirrors what it needs to display the board but treats your repo as canonical and never sells or shares your code.
By default, the content of your AI coding sessions — terminal transcripts, scrollback, and the prompts you type — is not uploaded to or stored on Fredrin's servers. It stays on your machine (in the live terminal and local session logs). Only metadata leaves your machine: run status, token-usage counts, and pull-request / CI signals needed to drive the board.
You can opt in per project (Project settings → “Sync conversation history to Fredrin's servers”) to store conversation content so the durable chat thread and reopened-session history work across devices. When the opt-in is off, those board features degrade gracefully and rely on your local session instead. Whether or not you opt in, you can erase any conversation content already stored for a project at any time with “Delete stored history” in the same settings panel.
To authenticate you, render your board, sync ticket and CI status, and operate, secure, and improve the product. We process data to provide the service you asked for — not to build advertising profiles.
We rely on infrastructure providers to deliver Fredrin (hosting, database, email delivery, and realtime messaging). These providers process data only to perform services for us. When you use your own AI provider subscription or key, your prompts are subject to that provider's policies.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Deleting your workspace removes the associated board data from our systems.
