Open role
Sr. software engineer
Fredrin is a desktop app that orchestrates AI coding agents in parallel — real branches, worktrees, and pull requests on your own machine. We're looking for a senior engineer to build the core of that orchestration.
Remote
What you'll do
- Build and harden the agent orchestration core — sessions, worktrees, branches, and the pipeline that turns a ticket into a PR.
- Ship across the stack: the desktop app, the sync layer, and the integrations with git hosts and agent runtimes.
- Own hard problems end to end, from design through rollout, with a bias for small reviewable changes.
- Set the bar on code review, testing, and operational discipline as the team grows.
What we're looking for
- Substantial experience shipping production software — ideally developer tools, desktop apps, or systems close to git.
- Strong TypeScript, or the depth to pick it up fast, and comfort working close to processes, file systems, and CLIs.
- You've used AI coding agents in anger and have informed opinions about where they break.
- You default to shipping: small PRs, tight feedback loops, no big-bang rewrites.
How we work
- Small team, high trust — you work directly with the founders and own whole problems, not tickets.
- We use Fredrin to build Fredrin: most changes ship through the same agent-driven flow we sell.
- Written-first communication, few meetings, and a bias for shipping something real every week.
Where you'll work
Every role at Fredrin is fully remote. We work async-first across time zones, with a written culture that cares about what you ship, not where you sit.
